Comments:Mary Lynn Douglas Aaron was born on December 15, 1957, in McKinney, Texas to Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Purser, as the oldest of five children. Growing up in the Princeton and Blue Ridge area, she took on the responsibility of helping her mother care for her younger siblings. Her best memories growing up were being surrounded with her entire family every holiday at her grandparents house.  In 1979, she began her own family, welcoming her first son and moving back to McKinney. She worked for many years as the manager of Walmart. She was a strong, independent woman with a heart of gold. Later in life, she became a beloved nanny, raising two grandsons and creating a nurturing home filled with laughter and support. In 2006, Mary moved to Van Alstyne, where she spent 20 years. Known for her strength and love, she became the matriarch of her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience that would forever guide her family. Mary was preceded in death by; her mother, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Purser and father Clarence Davidson. And grandparents Bill and Nora Purser.  She is survived by, brother Wendell and wife Brenda, brother Steve and partner Carolyn, sister Patricia, and sister Lanora and husband James. Note:References to the abbreviations "Dem" or "Cou" in comments are references to different newpapers in McKinney, Texas. Since the late 1800s there have been a number of newspapers that have had "Democrat" or "Courier" in their name and that is what the abbreviations refer to. The particular paper referenced will be determined by the timeframe of the obituary.
